WAPPAPELLO - James David Griffin, 44, formerly of Sikeston and Morehouse, died Dec. 27, 2005, at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.
Born June 15, 1961, in Dexter, son of Irene Murphy Griffin Scheider and the late James William Griffin, he had worked as a welder and was a member of the Eagle Aerie 4066 in Wappapello.
On April 28, 1978, in Sikeston, he married Terry Lynn Bean, who survives of the home.
Survivors in addition to his mother and wife include: one son, David Landon Griffin of Wappapello; two daughters, Terri Marie Duncan of Cape Girardeau and Michelle Lee Goodman of Scott City; one sister, Donna Sladek of St. Louis; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Morehouse. The Rev. Doyle Corlew of Dexter officiated.
Burial followed in the Triplett Cemetery, near Dexter.
