ESSEX - Joyce Burge, 54, died Jan. 17, 2006, in St. Louis University Hospital at St. Louis.

Born Oct. 22, 1951, at Ponca City, Okla., daughter of Martha Neely Burge of Essex and the late Earl William Burge, she was a former secretary for the V.N.A. in Dexter and a member of the Essex First Baptist Church.

Survivors include: one son, Benjamin Thomas Burge of Essex; and one brother, Charles Burge of Potosi.

Friends may call from noon until time of services at 2 p.m. at the Rainey-

Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. Gary Gilbert will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Essex Cemetery.
