SIKESTON -- Lola Mae Bagby, 97, died Oct. 10, 2005, at Clearview Nursing Center.
Born Oct. 17, 1907, in Townley, daughter of the late Oscar William and Lena Mae Walker Pippins, she moved to Elgin, Ill., in the early 1950s and worked at the Ducane Factory until retirement. She was of the Church of Christ belief.
On Jan. 26, 1926, in Piggott, Ark., she married Ernest W. Bagby who preceded her in death in February 1951.
Survivors include: one son, Charles Bagby of Sikeston; three daughters, Peggy Shackelford of Exeter, Calif., Gloria Coleman of Bushnell, Fla., and Connie Freund of Warsaw; one sister, Mable Stacy of St. Louis; and 12 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is at 10 a.m. Thursday with services to follow at 1 p.m. at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter. Pat Hogan of Sikeston will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Park Cemetery in Malden.
