Richard Jones

LILBOURN - Richard Jones, 74, died Dec. 12, 2005, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born Aug. 11, 1931, to the late W.M. Richard and Eva Mae Langley Jones, he was a retired veteran and a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Lilbourn.

On Oct. 21, 2004, in Okeechobee, Fla., he married Joy M. Jones, who survives of the home.

In addition to his wife, survivors include: one son, Richard Ryan Jones of Perryville, Ohio; two brothers, Howard Jones of North Carolna and Raymond Jones of Florida; one sister, Virginia Howell of New Madrid; and four grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the United Pentecostal Church in Lilbourn with the Rev. Darrell Pollock officiating.

Burial will follow in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield.
