DEXTER - Hilda Smyth, 75, died Jan. 6, 2006, at her home.
Born Nov. 10, 1930, at Essex, daughter of the late Dallas and Clara Brown Baker, she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dexter.
On Sept. 10, 1949, at Dexter, she married Alvin Smyth, who survives of the home.
In addition to her husband, survivors include: three daughters, Vicki Waldrup of Dexter, Beverly Good of Cookeville, Tenn., and Susan Richmond of Cape Girardeau; one sister, Nelda Douglas of Dexter; and seven grandchildren.
Services were conducted today at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. Vaughn Wright officiated.
Burial followed in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield.
