SIKESTON -- Olian Lee Pigg Sr., 70, died Dec. 9, 2005, at his home.
Born March 19, 1935, in Waynesboro, Tenn., he was the son of the late Ed and Bessie Elizabeth Pigg.
In 1956, he married Marian Faye Copus who preceded him in death on April 9, 1998.
Preceding him in death in addition to his parents and wife were one son, Doyle Gene Pigg; one brother, J.W. Pigg; and two grandsons.
Survivors include: two sons, Olian Lee Pigg Jr. of Jonesboro, Ark., and Phillip Wayne Pigg of Sikeston; four daughters, Rita Nance and Libby Hicks of Sikeston, Sheila Adams of Charleston and Tammy Achter of Anniston; four brothers, Leland Pigg and Doyle Pigg of Waynesboro, Howard Pigg of Cloverdale, Ala., and Junior Pigg of Florence, Ala.; two sisters, Pearlean Kelley and Beulah Mattax of Waynesboro; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-
grandchildren; and a special friend, Lois Feagan of the home.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston where services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Scott Sunnenberg, pastor of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
