Kindergarten screenings

Giselle Galang and Armani Ross, both preschool students at the Sikeston Kindergarten Center's 4-year old early childhood program, play a math game. The Sikeston R-6 Schools' birth-4 Screening will be held Feb. 6 through Feb. 9. The screening will check vision, dental, hearing, speech and developmental areas and determine who attends the 4-year old early childhood program next school year. For an appointment call 471-0653. A child who is going to be 5 years old by July 31 will be eligible for kindergarten in the fall.
