WARDELL - The Risco Tigers basketball team won their fifth game in a row, with a 81-63 road victory over the host North Pemiscot Mustangs in Tri-
County Conference action on Tuesday night.
Balanced scoring led the Tigers to victory, as four players ended up with double-digit scoring in the contest.
Risco led 47-30 at the half and cruised the rest of the way for the win.
"We looked sharp on the offensive end tonight," said Risco head coach Brandon Blankenship. "Our starters are clicking right now and we are starting to come together as a team. I was most pleased with the way our guys moved the ball on offense. With a big lead most of the night, got a chance to play some of the kids that are on the junior varsity."
Robert Fowler led Risco with 20 points. Andrew Halford netted 18. Ricky Davis had four 3-pointers on his way to 17 points for the Tigers. Rodulfo Johnson rounded out the double-digit scorers for Risco with 11 points.
North Pemiscot was led in scoring by Kevin Combs with 21 points.
Grant St. Cin and Todd Hoggard had 14 and 10 points respectively for the Mustangs.
Risco (9-8, 5-2) will travel to Richland on Friday night to take on the Rebels.
