Lena Hicks

Born June 22, 1931, in Birds Corner to the late Jim and Charlotte Grace Brannon, she was employed by Shuffitts Nursing Home, El-Capri Motel and Joel Montgomery. She was a member of the Murray Lane Baptist Church.

Survivors include: two sons and a daughter-in-law, Darrell and Libby Hicks and Lewis Hicks of Sikeston; two daughters and sons-in-law, Carma and Gary Glastetter of Oran and Mary and Randy Strickland of Burnsville, Miss.; two brothers, Charles Brannon of Marble Hill and Gene Brannon of Sikeston; four sisters, Ruth Malone of Rockford, Ill., Linda Arthur of Poplar Bluff, Nancy Cochran of Marble Hill and Pat Young of Sikeston; and 10 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday. The Rev. Randy Eskew will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
