DEXTER -- Margaret L. Fisher, 87, died Nov. 23, 2005, at the Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Born Aug. 12, 1918, in Sikeston to the late William M. Fisher and Carrie Wilson Fisher, she was a longtime member of and served as a Sunday school teacher at the First United Methodist Church in Sikeston. She retired after 43 years of service with Southwestern Bell in Sikeston and St. Louis.
Survivors include: a niece, Martha Webb of Dexter; a cousin, Shirley Cummins of Millstadt, Ill., who was raised with Margaret; three very special friends, Doris Biggs, Glenda Williamson and Tonya Jones; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Emmett; a sister, Mrs. W.F. (Frances) Webb; and a nephew, W.F. (Bill) Webb Jr.
Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Monday at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter until time for services at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Kenneth Biggs of Dexter will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
