Mildred Aslin

Born Aug. 20, 1923, in Bloomfield, daughter of the late Aud Launius and Estelle Lewis Launius, she was of the Baptist belief and a former urology nurse at Kneibert Clinic in Poplar Bluff.

On May 27, 1944, in Bloomfield, she married William Carl Aslin, who preceded her in death Oct. 14, 2002.

Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Larry Tinker of Groves Beach, Calif.; one daughter-in-law, Susan Aslin of Fenton; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Dale Aslin and by two brothers.

Friends may call from noon Friday,until time for services at 2 p.m. at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. Calvin Buhler will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Walker Cemetery at Bloomfield.
