Tri-AMP planning for ADDY awards

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- The Tri-State Advertising and Marketing Professionals have issued a call for entries for their 2005 ADDY Awards competition.

The Tri-State Advertising and Marketing Professionals ADDY Awards Competition is sponsored by the Tri-State Advertising and Marketing Professionals, a member association of the American Advertising Federation, comprised of advertising and media professionals.

The ADDY Awards Competition is a three-tiered national competition conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation. The ADDY Awards Competition is the advertising industry's largest and most representative competition for creative excellence. Each year, the Tri-State AMP honors the best in the business with its local ADDY competition. Humor is the theme of this year's ADDY awards to be presented by the Tri-State AMP.

Deadline for entries for this year's competition is 4 p.m. Jan. 11 at the Cape Girardeau Convention and Visitors Bureau at 100 Broadway in Cape Girardeau. The ADDY Awards will be presented at a banquet dinner Feb. 24 at the Drury Lodge.

Entry fees are $37 for Tri-State AMP members, $47 for non-members and $20 for students.

Proceeds from the ADDY Awards help support the Tri-State Advertising and Marketing Professionals' educational programs.
