NEW MADRID -- Pearl "Ma Pearl" Fowler Wilson, 95, died Nov. 30, 2005, at her home.
Born Dec. 17, 1909, in Loretta, Tenn, the daughter of the late Will and Emma Fowler, she was a member of the General Baptist Church of New Madrid. Momma Pearl, as she was known by all, rocked her grand babies (as she called them all) for many years at Sue Sue's Day Care in New Madrid.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, one sister, six brothers, one grandchild and three great-grandchildren.
Momma Pearl is survived by: three daughters, Katherine Mann of Cape Girardeau, Betty Sweet of Farrenburg and Shirley Patterson of New Madrid; eight grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, ten great-great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild on the way and a host of family and friends.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid. where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Brian Anderson officiating.
Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Ray Fowler, David Adams, Roger Patterson, Hershel Hardgraves, Arlin Sweet, Cherik Paul Dixon Griffin and Chuck Patterson.
