WAPPAPELLO - Ingrid Porter Morlan, 58, formerly of Dexter, died Oct. 11, 2005, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Born Sept. 5, 1947, in Mannheim, Germany, daughter of the late James E. and Anna Reffert Porter Jr., she was a member of the First Church of God in Dexter.
On Aug. 19, 2003, at Piggot, Ark., she married Thomas D. Morlan, who survives of the home.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by: one daughter, LaDonna Sue Montgomery of Dexter; one stepson, Thomas D. Morlan Jr. of Wappapello; one stepdaughter, Dianna Lyn Walker of Malden; one brother, Hans Porter of Dexter; two sisters, Henny A. Vandiver-Baisden of Geneva, Ill., and Marianna M. Burge of Dexter; three grandchildren and two stepgrandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Harry Porter.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday. The Revs. Joe Ogelvie and Don Willingham will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Chalk Bluff Cemetery.
