CAPE GIRARDEAU - Donald R. Gremard, 58, died at 7:20 p.m. Sept. 26, 2005, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
Born May 4, 1947, in St. Louis, son of the late Ralph W. and Lowanda l. Young Gremard, he had worked as an auto mechanic for many years and had served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the American Pool Players Association, Untied States 8 Ball Association, and had been a tournament and league pool player for many years. He was a member of the Cape Girardeau Fraternal Order of Eagles Erie No. 3775.
On Dec. 30, 1989, in Sikeston, he married Donna L. Curtis who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: four sons, Brian Gremard, Jeremy Gremard, Tyler Gremard and Cody Gremard of Cape Girardeau; one stepson, Rhett Powell of Jefferson City; four daughters, Yvonne Williamson of Matthews, Kimberly Garrett of Cape Girardeau, Janna Gremard of Clarksville, Tenn., and Scarlett Gremard of Cape Girardeau; one brother, Bruce Gremard of Matthews; two sisters, Deloris Wood of Dallas, Ga., and Robin Gremard of Sikeston; and 16 grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Randall Gremard, and one sister, Brenda Bellamy.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Marty Blakey, pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Chaffee, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Portageville Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Gary Garner, Tim Dolan, Lawrence Nenninger, Mike Snyder, John Long and Jerome Daniel.
