SIKESTON -- Randy and Janice Hale have announced the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Louise, to Brian Michael Ray, son of Mike and Denise Ray of East Prairie.

The future bride is a 1999 Sikeston High School graduate and is employed with Food Giant Inc.

The prospective bridegroom is a 1998 graduate of East Prairie High School and is employed with McTigue Construction Co.

Plans are under way for a June 24 wedding.
