SIKESTON -- Laura Dawn Bailey and Kevin Lee Swain were united in marriage during a 4 p.m. ceremony Nov. 26, 2005, at Hunter Memorial Presbyterian Church in Sikeston. The Rev. John Goodwin performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Steve and Karen Bailey of Sikeston, and parents of the bridegroom are Donnie and Jane Wolford of Sikeston.
Harry Howard of Sikeston provided music for the occasion.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a Maggie Sattero strapless ivory corset back gown fashioned in lustrous taffeta. The sweetheart neckline was sprinkled with blush pearl accents. The dropped waist extended into a "caught up" shirt embellished with diamond-shaped pearl motifs.
Tobi Swain of Sikeston served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Angela Dee of Potosi and Susan Marshall of St. Louis.
Alexis Booth of Clarksville, Tenn., daughter of the bride, served as flower girl. Best man was J.D. Swain of Sikeston, and groomsmen were Howard Wright and Steven Simpson of Clarksville.
Ring bearer was Ian Donaldson of Diehlstadt, son of John Donaldson.
Josh Swain served as usher. Wedding planner was Janice Swogger and sound coordinator was Wayne Noe.
A reception followed at Sikeston Elks Lodge 2319.
Following a wedding trip to Nashville, Tenn., the new Mr. and Mrs. Swain are residing in Clarksville.
