Community fun

Sometimes having fun is hard work. Gavin Childers, 5, gives it his all as he competes in the tractor pull at Matthews Community Day Saturday. Youngsters pedaled the tractor across the tennis courts pulling a wagon loaded with four bricks during the competition. The day, sponsored by the Big Prairie Jaycees, also included games, pageants, a horse shoe tournament and a barbecue cook-off.
