Leo McCormick

WAPPAPELLO -- Leo McCormick, 58, formerly of Sikeston, died Dec. 3, 2005, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Born Dec. 12, 1946, in Sikeston, he owned a bar in the Wappapello area.

In 1974, in Sikeston, he married Betty Morris who survives of the home.

In addition to his wife, survivors include: three daughters, Bobbie Hickman of Bernie, Brandie McCormick of Arkansas and Ollie Horn of Van Buren; two brothers, George Morris of Doniphan and Hank McCormick of Russellville, Ark.; four sisters, Pat Jones and Carolyn Threadgill of St. Louis, Brenda Tidwell of Kewanee and Porshia Hudson of Doniphan; seven grandchildren; and his stepmother, Doris Heavener of Sikeston.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 Wednesday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. Rev. Kelley Grubbs, pastor of Murray Lane Baptist Church, will officiate.
