ORAN -- Carla Christine Williams and Michael James Ramsey were united in marriage during a 4 p.m. ceremony Nov. 3, 2007, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Chaffee. The Rev. Wayne Schwiesow, pastor, officiated. Parents of the bride are Don and Carol Trowbridge of McClure, Ill., and the bridegroom is the son of Gerald Ramsey and Sharon Garcia of Lansing, Mich. Maid of honor was Angela Ford of Cape Girardeau, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Sarah McDowell of Cape Girardeau, Julie Palmer and Angela Dillow of Jackson and Christine Biri of Scott City.
Maddy Williams, daughter of the bride, along with Claire Ramsey and Madison Ramsey, daughters of the bridegroom, served as flower girls. Brad Dillow of Jackson was best man. Groomsmen were Jimmy Watkins, John Asmus and Craig Hahn of Oran and Dean Lynn of Cape Girardeau. Serving as ushers were Zach Ramsey and Christian Ramsey of Oran, sons of the bridegroom. Guestbook attendant was Mandy Yancey of Jackson. Videographer was Joshua Brower of St. Louis, nephew of the bride. A reception followed at the Jaycee Hall in Oran, where servers were Amanda Mosley of Scott City, Janice Roth of Jackson and Beverly Licka of Buncombe, Ill. Caterer was Louis Licka of Buncombe. A rehearsal dinner hosted by Andrea Woodfin of Oran, aunt of the bridegroom, was held Nov. 2 at the bridegroom's residence. The new Mr. and Mrs. Ramsey are making their home in Oran.
