DEXTER - Lottie Mae Gunn, 81, died Nov. 20, 2005, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born July 9, 1924, in Bryant, daughter of the late George W. and Ada Stark Clark, she had lived in the Dexter area all her life and was raised by her grandmother, the late Rhoda Caroline Stark. She had attended Dexter Public Schools and was a member of the First Pentecostal Church in Dexter, where she was a Sunday school teacher for 58 years and sang in the church choir.

On Oct. 18, 1946, in Piggott, Ark., she married James Gunn, who survives of the home.

In addition to her husband, survivors are: two daughters and one son-in-law, Carolyn Bradford of Tomball, Texas, and Susan and James Hughes of Jackson; and five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one granddaughter.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the First Pentecostal Church in Dexter with the Rev. Robert Bentley of Dexter, the Rev. Ronnie Brown of Jackson and the Rev. Dennis Breland of Charleston officiating.

Burial will follow in the Chalk Bluff Cemetery near Dexter.
