Ed Sturgeon

Born March 17, 1943, in Bollinger County, son of the late Raymond and Lula Angle Sturgeon, he was a 1962 graduate of Zalma High School, had worked for the Missouri Highway Department and was a deacon and member of Oak Grove General Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister.

Survivors include: one son, Josh Sturgeon of Advance; two daughters, Tonia Murphy of Advance and Anna Wilson of Piedmont; one brother, Bob Sturgeon of Advance; four sisters, Shirley Grubbs of Dexter, Dorma Sturgeon of Zalma, Sandy Woodfin of Marble Hill and Cathy Clayton of Sikeston; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is today from 5 to 8 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Gary Cooper officiating.

Burial will follow in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
