SIKESTON -- W.P. Lee Jr., 93, died at 12:40 a.m. Dec. 10, 2005, at the Sikeston Convalescent Center.
Born May 30, 1912, in Chaffee, son of the late W.P. and Nancy Jane Misplay Lee Sr., he was a retired barber of Lee's Barber Shop in Chaffee which he owned and operated. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and Trinity Gospel Church in Sikeston.
On Oct. 17, 1937, he married Lucille Tucker who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: four daughters, Ann Davis of Sikeston, Fay Riley of Wentzville, Mary Haman Beadles of Wazahachie, Texas, and Martha Suedmeyer of Jackson; one sister, Pauline Griffith of Florida; and eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
In addition to his parents, one daughter, four brothers and three sisters also preceded him in death.
Visitation is after 4 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday. The Revs. Larry Davis and Michael Haman will officiate.
Burial will follow in Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
