Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, the Standard Democrat will not publish an edition on Thursday and the offices will be closed. The offices will reopen at 8 a.m. Friday and publication will resume. The employees at the Standard Democrat wish all our readers and their loved ones a Happy Thanksgiving.
