DEXTER - Patricia Brickhaus, 51, died Nov. 16, 2005, in the Barnes-Jewish Hospital at St. Louis.
Born July 29, 1954, at Perryville, daughter of the late Walter Mathew and Mildred Flora Ochs Brickhaus, she was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Dexter, where she was a member of the choir and served as church organist, a teacher at T.S. Hill Middle School in Dexter for 28 years, a member of the Friedenburg Lutheran Historical Society, NCTM, MSTA, Alpha Delta Kappa, Secretary of Voter's Assembly, CTA Building Representative, teacher at SEMO and Three Rivers Community College. She was a musician, poet and humorous writer.
Survivors include: two brothers and sisters-in law, Allen and Kathy Brickhaus of Galconda, Ill. and Glen and Marilyn Brickhaus of Perryville; one sister, Margaret Brickhaus of Jackson; one nephew and his wife, James and Michele Ketten; two nieces, Sarah Brickhaus and Rachel Brickhaus; one great-nephew, Aaron Ketten and one great-niece, Kassi Ketten.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday in the Faith Lutheran Church in Dexter, with the Revs. Adam Mueller and Michael Mathey officiating.
Burial will follow the service at 2 p.m. in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery at Perryville.
