SIKESTON - Margaret Elizabeth Lee, 85, died Nov. 17, 2005, at West Ridge Place in Sikeston.
Born Feb. 7, 1920, in Sikeston, daughter of the late Ira and Anna Bacher Jones, she was a member for over 76 years of the First Baptist Church in Sikeston, where she served from 1964 to 1996 as church clerk and from 1973 to 1996 as Sunday school secretary. She was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi.
In 1939, she married Ronald Earl "Tookie" Lee, who preceded her in death Aug. 1, 1972.
Two brothers, Clifton Jones and Clifford Jones, also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Kay Lee of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.; two daughters, Peggy Baker of Sikeston ad Halie Lee of Pueblo, Colo.; one sister and brother-in-law, Mary Louise and Castor Alsup of Sikeston; five grandchildren, Ron Baker and Michael Baker, both of Sikeston, Melissa Faulk of Mississippi, Chuck Lee and Kathryn Brajas, both of Pueblo; 14 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. Monday at the Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston. Rev. Rick Ramsey of First Baptist Church will officiate, with her son, Mike Lee, assisting.
Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
Pallbearers will be: Steve Alsup, Skip Alsup, Jimmy Alsup, Jim Barnes, Donald Swilley, Craig Hahs and Mike Parker.
