WYATT -- Lawrence Edward Vinson, 64, died Dec. 8, 2005, on Highway HH three miles east of Wyatt from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Born Feb. 7, 1941, in Charleston, son of the late George and Rita Sisk Vinson, he had lived his entire life in Mississippi County, was retired from McTigue Construction and had worked at Staples Construction Co. He was of the Baptist belief.

On May 27, 1958, he married Mary Lou Thurman who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: four sons, Michael Edward Vinson and Timothy Raymond Vinson of Wyatt, Christopher Eugene Vinson of Dogwood, and Kevin Sisk of Charleston; one daughter, Diana K. Anthony of Charleston; three brothers, Jesse Vinson and Tony Vinson of Charleston and Jerry Dale Vinson of East Prairie; three sisters, Bertha Hedge and Donna Vinson of Charleston and Linda Vinson of East Prairie; and numerous grandchildren, great-

grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Calvin Vinson and Larry Joe Vinson; two sisters, Wanda Pauline Vinson and Bone Vinson; and one great-grandson, Jessup Willis.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Scott Sunnenberg, pastor of St. Henry Catholic Church of Charleston, officiating. Winston Williford will give the eulogy.

Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.

Pallbearers will be: Gerald Francis, Billy Don Francis, Robert Criss, Rocky Walker, David Hedge and Marty Hedge.

Honorary pallbearers will be: George "Cooter" Brown, Warren Palmer, Steve Heinley and Garry Lee Coffer.
