Scouting for food

Cherokee District Boys Scouts and Cubs Scouts sort canned goods at the First Assembly of God Church Saturday morning. Over 9,200 cans were collected in the Sikeston, Miner and Morehouse areas for the 2005 Scouting for Food drive. Scouting for Food is the nation's largest one-day food drive, raising 15 percent of area food pantries' yearly supply and feeding the hungry in the community for three months.
