PIGGOTT, Ark. - Marilyn Gallagher King, 78, died May 21, 2006, in Piggott.
Born Feb. 17, 1928, in Butler, Pa., daughter of the late Earl and Edith Gallagher, she was a member of Hitt's Chapel General Baptist Church.
On Nov. 23, 1946, in Detroit, she was united in marriage to James W. King, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Rhonda King of Marion; one daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Darrel Maclin of Sikeston, Mo.; one sister, Colleen Kellstrom of Tavares, Fla.; and seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
One daughter, Sharon King Wright; and one sister, Shirley Reynolds, preceded her in death.
Visitation will begin at 6:30 p.m. today at Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home in Piggott, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Jim King will officiate assisted by the Revs. Charles Richardson and Shawn Parker.
Burial will follow in the Piggott Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Tyler Brooks, Trey Brooks, Justin King, Seth King, Brian Wright and Scott Harrell.
