ADAIRVILLE, Ky. -- Iris June Leek, 70, died Jan. 2, 2008, at her home.
Born April 10, 1937, in Sikeston, Mo. to the late Tom and Leona Chaney Gross, she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Morehouse, Mo. She was a retail clerk for Dollar General Store, and was the recipient of an award from Dollar General Corp. for her efforts in fundraising for Pro Literacy America.
Survivors include: two daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Rusty Burchett of Adairville and Penny Collins and Clifton Irvan of Benton, Ky.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Donald L. and Elaine Leek of Nashville, Tenn. and David and Karen Leek of Murfeesboro, Tenn.; and seven grandchildren and two great-
grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of services at 2 p.m. Saturday at Sanders Funeral Home in Russellville. Charles Roney and Carrie Darden will officiate.
Burial will be at 1 p.m. Sunday in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston, Mo.
Pallbearers will be: Rusty Burchett, Brandon Burchett, Scott Collins, Justin Collins, Clifton Irvan and Tyler Leek.
