HOWARDVILLE -- Tommie Lee Maxwell, 62, died Dec. 30, 2007, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born April 19, 1945, in England, Ark., to the late Louis and Roberta Maxwell Sr. of Howardville, he was of the Pentecostal belief.
He was formerly married to Sheryl Lynette Branch who survives.
In addition to his mother, survivors include: six brothers, Louis Maxwell of Putima, Fla., James Maxwell of the state of Florida, Eugene Maxwell of Laforge, Melvin Maxwell and Sydney Maxwell of New Madrid and Henry Maxwell of Caruthersville; and eight sisters, Willie Garron of Youngstown, Ohio, Florine Maxwell, Ida Maxwell, Betty Maxwell and Doris Maxwell of Howardville, Lessie Harper of Scott, Ariz., Rose Mary Strickland of Hannibal and Lucille Strickland of Columbia.
Visitation is from 1 p.m. until time of services at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Lilbourn. The Rev. Earnest Willis, pastor, will officiate.
Burial will follow in Simmons Cemetery in Catron.
Williams Funeral Home of Howardville is in charge of arrangements.
