CHICAGO -- Ada Anderson, 75, died Dec. 29, 2007, in Chicago.
Born Feb. 23, 1932, in Wolf Island, Mo., daughter of the late Columbus and Addie Anderson, she was a welder by occupation and of the Baptist belief.
Survivors include: four sons, Doby Anderson, Richard Haywood, Frederick Douglas and Roderick Douglas of Chicago; three daughters, Phyllis Lindsey, Shirley White and Brenda Alexander of the state of Maryland; two brothers, Lloyd Anderson of Benton Harbor, Mich., and David L. Anderson of Tacoma, Wash.; three sisters, Nettie Jackson, Olivia Oglesby and Lydia Home of Chicago; and 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Chicago with Evans Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. until noon Monday at the Williams Funeral Home in Charleston, Mo.
Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
