Born June 1, 1962, in Wyatt, son of Nannie Mae Williams of Charleston and the late John Parker, since 1982 he had been a member of the Mercy Seat Baptist Church where he sang in the choir for six years.
In addition to his mother, survivors include: six brothers, Charles McCluney of Delaware, Michael E. Parker, Johnny Parker and Juan Evans of Charleston, Greg Parker of Atlanta, Ga., and Tony Parker of St. Louis; six sisters, Junetta Hamilton and Nannette Clemons of Charleston, Theresa McCluney of Kansas City, Bernita Parker of Charleston and Carolyn Faye Jenkins and Juanita Barner of Chicago; and his grandmother, Elizabeth Douglas of Charleston.
Visitation is from noon Saturday at the Bowden Center until time for services at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Murray Williams officiating.
Inurnment will follow at a later date.
Williams Funeral Home of Charleston is in charge of arrangements.
