Whitney Wren is the Standard Democrat Calendar Girl for October. Wren, one of the 12 finalists in the 2006 American Legion Cotton Carnival's Miss Sikeston Contest, is the daughter of William and Mary Wren. She is currently attending Southeast Missouri State University and majoring in nursing.
