SIKESTON - Rikki "Rik" Dale Lambert, 47, died March 10, 2006, at his home.
Born June 16, 1958, in Sikeston, son of Larry Lambert of Sikeston and Sandy (Cauthorn) and Bob Lutes of Sikeston, he followed in the family business and was a self-employed floor contractor and a member of the Sikeston Elks Lodge.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sons whom he adored, Kaili Dale Lambert and Kaiden Dale Lambert, both of Sikeston. He was very active in their lives, coaching their baseball and soccer teams and, when not coaching, you could always find him close by cheering them on.
When not hard at work, or spending time with his boys, you could always find him on the golf course, sharing laughs with his many friends. He lived life to the fullest.
He will be sadly missed by his two brothers, Terry Lambert and Robert "Robbie" Lambert of Sikeston; his only sister, Melinda Kirkpatrick of Sikeston; and paternal grandmother, Muriel Lambert of Sikeston.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, James H. "Jim" Lambert; maternal grandparents, Robert and Dorothy Cauthorn.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home, where funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday. The Rev. Mitch Jackson, pastor of Miner Baptist Church, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Todd Davis, Ron Davis, Bryan Dixon, Larry Rodgers, Tracy Pendergrass and Richie Sterling.
