SIKESTON - Victor Dale "Vic" McCoy, 83, died at 3:20 p.m. Sept. 26, 2007, at Westridge Place in Sikeston.

Born July 23, 1924, in St. Charles, to the late Edward and Rose Barren McCoy, he was a U.S. Army veteran who served in World War II. He had been a bookkeeper at the Scott-New Madrid-Mississippi County Rural Electric Co-op; had been the general manager at the Petit Jean Rural Electric Co-op in Clinton, Ala.; and had also been employed by the REA in Fayette and Mt. Vernon. He was a longtime member of the Tanner Street Church of God.

On Dec. 5, 1953, in Crowder, he married Ruby Evelyn Burns who preceded him in death on April 7, 2007.

Three brothers also preceded him in death.

Survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Dale and Sharon Duncan of Sikeston and Edward and Dorene McCoy of Cape Coral, Fla.; three daughters and one son-in-law, Kathy and Jim Peery of N. Kansas City, Carol Lee Isnor of Morehouse and Ruth Ellen Zercher of Cape Coral; two brothers, Charles McCoy of St. Charles and Dean McCoy of Troy; and 12 grandchildren and two great-

grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. Services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Tanner Street Church of God. The Rev. Carl Addison, pastor, will officiate.

Burial with full military rites conducted by the Missouri Military Funeral Guard will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
