DEXTER -- Bobby Ray Mace, 65, died Sept. 25, 2007, at the Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter.
Born May 4, 1942 in Essex, son of the late Austin William and Cozette Layton Mace, he had lived in Essex and Dexter all of his life.
On July 13, 1964, in Stoddard County, he married Janice Campbell, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons, Donnie Ray Mace of Benton and Terry Wayne Mace of Dexter; one daughter, Vanessa Gail Mace of Dexter; two brothers, Albert Mace of Acorn Ridge and Virgil Mace of Bloomfield; one sister, Jamie Daniels of Dexter; and seven grandchildren.
One brother, Bill Mace, preceded him in death.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. tonight at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, where services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Gerald King of Puxico will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Link Chapel Cemetery near Bloomfield.
