Ella Huffman

MATTHEWS - Ella Carolyn Huffman, 54, died at 5:30 a.m. Sept. 22, 2007, at her home.

Born Aug. 22, 1953, in Lucedale, Miss., to the late Amos and Pallie Havard Rhymes, she was a homemaker and a member of the Christian Tabernacle Church.

On June 8, 1972, at Lucedale, she married Larry P. Huffman who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: three sons and daughters-in-law, Amos and Kimberlie Huffman, Larry and Virginia Huffman and Dennis and Cheryl Huffman of Sikeston; one daughter, Tressa Huffman of Matthews; four brothers, Jimbo Rhymes, Willard Rhymes, Gary Rhymes and Jerry Rhymes of Lucedale; three sisters, Lois Holderfield of Ovett, Miss., Gayle LeBlanc of Breaux Bridge, La., and Debbie Rhymes of Lucedale; and 10 grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Services were conducted Wednesday at the Sigler Funeral Home in Lucedale.

Burial followed in the Rhymes Cemetery in Lucedale.
