CAPE GIRARDEAU - Ashley Jo Simmons is the parent of her first child, a daughter, born at 11:09 p.m. Oct. 24, 2007, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. Kylee Marie Jordyn Simmons weighed 8 pounds, 5 ounces, and was 20.5 inches long.
Grandparents are Deanna Shy of Scott City and Joe Simmons of Advance.

BENTON - Angela and Bryan Baker are the parents of their first child, a son, born at 2:46 a.m. Oct. 25, 2007, at Saint Francis Medical Center's Family BirthPlace in Cape Girardeau. Conner Eric Baker weighed 6 pounds, 15 ounces, and was 20.5 inches long.
Maternal grandparents are Alan and Donna Ziegler of Benton.
Paternal grandparents are Charles and Sheila Baker of Sikeston.
