OSCEOLA, Ark. -- Cordie Mae Dixon, 61, died March 19, 2008, at Methodist North Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

Daughter of the late Lindsay and Eva Mae Grimes, she was a member of Westside Baptist Church in Osceola, a WMA Sunday school teacher and the assistant treasurer of the church. She was also involved in the Outreach Ministry.

Survivors include: her husband, Charles Dixon of Osceola; one son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Tammie Dixon II of Osceola; two sisters, Mary Webb of Osceola and Donna Latham of Sikeston, Mo.; one grandchild; and special friends, Noble and Shanna Salerno family and Hannah and Ferris Dunlap.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Larry Grimes; and one sister, Phyllis Grimes.

Visitation is scheduled from 6-8 p.m. today at the Westside Baptist Church where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday.

Roller-Swift Funeral Home of Osceola is in charge of arrangements.
