FRANKFORD, Del. - Bobbie J. Tate, 71, formerly of Sikeston, Mo., died at 9:30 a.m. Sept. 8, 2006, at his home.
Born Oct. 9, 1934, in Sikeston, to the late Robert E. and Ressie Tate, he was a 1954 Sikeston High School graduate. He retired after 20 years service as staff sergeant with the U.S. Air Force, where he served with the Special Investigations Group.
Survivors include: his wife, Joan M. Tate; four daughters, Mary A. Fleck of Waldorf, Md., Wanda G. Perrins of Silver Spring, Md. and Cheryl A. Tate and Deborah L. White of Harrisburg, Penn.; two sisters, Elza Cantrell of Kerman, Calif., and Lucille West of Sikeston; nine grandchildren and two great-
Services were held Sept. 12 in Ocean View Chapel of Melson Funeral Services. His nephew, Randy A. West of Poplar Bluff, Mo., officiated.
Burial with full military rites followed in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
