Martindale wins league title

NEW?MADRID -- The Martindale Chevrolet baseball team finished its season with an overall record of 14-4, winning the championship game of the New Madrid Little League this season.

Martindale's pitching proved to be dominant with Josh Reed recording 91 strikeouts. Jake Reed, Dylan Milisits and Terelle Brown also provided solid efforts on the mound.

Martindale's batting order was full of power, with every player in the lineup marking their spot. Tyler Sprouse was nominated for Rookie of the Year and Josh Reed was nominated for MVP.
