SIKESTON -- Sarah Elizabeth Dugan and Brooks Gregory Kelley exchanged wedding vows May 19, 2007, at Shady Acres Church of Christ in Sikeston. The Rev. Herman Morse officiated at the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Conn and Mr. and Mrs. Chris Dugan, all of Wyatt. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Greg Kelley of Essex and the late Ellen Kelley.
The bride was given in marriage by her father and stepfather.
Jill Morris, cousin of the bride, served as main of honor and Trey White, friend of the bridegroom, was best man.
Ushers were Scott Dugan, brother of the bride; Bryan Dugan, cousin of the bride; Dustin Kelley, cousin of the bridegroom; and Kevin Manes, friend of the bridegroom.
Guest book attendants were Connor Dugan, niece of the bride, and Emily Dugan, cousin of the bride. Blake Graham, brother of the bridegroom, served as candle lighter.
Music during the ceremony was provided be the choir members of Shady Acres Church of Christ. Kaysie Kelley and Erica Wheeler, sisters of the bridegroom, delivered spiritual readings.
A reception followed the ceremony at the Christian Academy's gymnasium. Lauren Kelley, Blair Kelley and Brittney Kelley, cousins of the bridegroom, and Emily Dugan, cousin of the bride, were servers. Carol Jane Burke, Debbie Conn and Margaret Ann Mhoon, aunts of the bride, prepared food and drinks.
Prenuptial parties included a bridal shower on April 22 at the Church of Christ in Essex, hosted by Linda Head, Martha Tucker, Sondra Talkington, Dana McCormick, Jane Stearns, Faye McClung, Faye Hutchison, Barbara Fowler, Dottie Frashier, Laurie DeWitt, Linda DeWitt and Donna Groves; a bridal shower April 28 at the First Baptist Church in Charleston, hosted by Sophie Dugan, Melissa Dugan, Christie Dugan, Karen Kelley, Julie Dugan, Amanda Dugan, Rebel Dugan and Angie Duenne; and a bridal shower April 29 at the home of Carol Jane Burke in Charleston, hosted by Carol Jane Burke, Debbie Conn, Francine Halter, Margaret Ann Mhoon, Theresa Renaud and Jill Morris.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed at Progressive Farm Credit.
The bridegroom is attending Southeast Missouri State University. Upon graduation, he will be employed by Noranda Aluminum.
After a honeymoon trip to New York City, the new Mr. and Mrs. Kelley are making their home in Sikeston.
