OAKLAND, Fla. - Dorsey "Toots" Heusier, 84, formerly of Sikeston, Mo., died at 9:51 p.m. Oct. 20, 2006, at Health Central Park Care Center in Winter Garden.
Born May 27, 1922, in Morehouse, Mo., to the late Jacob Lee and Ethel Roper Shelby, she was a homemaker and a former member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Sikeston.
On March 6, 1943, in Morehouse, she married Linley F. Heuiser, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons, Doug Heusier of Greendale, Ind., and Dennis Heusier of Pensacola; one daughter, Joyce Scowden of Oakland; and four grandchildren.
Four brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. Thursday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Timothy J. Bickle of St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Billings, Mich., will officiate.
Burial will follow in Sikeston City Cemetery.
