With 43 seconds left remaining, the Lady Bulldogs found themselves down by one point. Samantha Davidson was sent to the line and made her first free throw to tie the game at 45-45. After missing her second attempt, Davidson grabbed her own rebound only to hit a shot to put the Lady Bulldogs ahead, 47-45.

After a steal by the Bravettes and a long pass down court, JoVonne Banks made a wide open lay-up with 12 seconds left to put Scott Central on top, 49-47, for good.
After the hard fought victory, Bravettes head coach Semona Penrod said, simply put; "A win is a win, and we'll take it."
Senior point guard Brianna Johnson led the Bravettes with 13 points. Brittney Jones finished with 12, while Iesha Turner had 11 points.
South Pemiscot was led by Samantha Davidson and Tabitha Berry who each scored 13 points a piece.
"We played extremely hard and I think they did a very good job," South Pemiscot head coach Jordanna Walk said. " I think we just ran out of gas for a minute there and we started getting down on ourselves. But, they didn't quit. I told them they had worked too hard to give up right now."
