BLOOMFIELD -- Janet Lynn McCauley and Dewey Wayne Holmes II were united in marriage during a 2 p.m. ceremony April 29, 2006, at the First Baptist Church in Bloomfield. Michael Watkins officiated.
Music for the occasion was provided by vocalists Angel Hillman and Paul Smoll.
Parents of the bride are Henry and Ruth Cagle of Bloomfield, and parents of the bridegroom are Dewey and Carlois Holmes of Bloomfield.
The bride was given in marriage by her children, Sean and Sierra McCauley of Bloomfield.
Amy Beeson of Sikeston served as matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Ricki Crismon-Cook of Poplar Bluff and Sierra McCauley, daughter of the bride. Pearl Cagle of St. Louis, niece of the bride and daughter of Duane and Carla Cagle, was flower girl.
Chad Holmes of Bloomfield attended his father as best man. Groomsmen were Anthoney T. Beeson of Sikeston, cousin of the bridegroom; and Sean McCauley, son of the bride. Dakota Holmes of Campbell, son of the bridegroom, was ring bearer.
Kevin Cagle of St. Louis and Ryan Tomlinson of Poplar Bluff, nephews of the bride, served as candle lighters and ushers.
A reception followed at the church. Sherri Tomlinson of Poplar Bluff, sister of bride, and Tabatha Gamache of Bloomfield, sister of the bridegroom, were servers. Katelyn Lang and Amber Lang of Bloomfield, nieces of the bridegroom, attended the guest book.
Following a wedding trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the new Mr. and Mrs. Holmes are making their home in Bloomfield.
