In the 2007 season for the Bluejays, Johnson played in 25 games, hitting .524 in 82 at bats, with an on-base percentage of .660. He recorded 35 runs, 43 hits, including seven doubles and six triples, while batting in 25 runs and stealing 28 bases. Johnson was also noticed as a 2006 and 2007 Scott-Miss All-Conference outfielder, a 2006 and 2007 MHSBCA All-State 2nd Team outfielder and a 2007 MSSA All-State outfielder.
