Years of service earn recognition

CHARLESTON - Cathy Walters and Tracy Williams of the Charleston Rural Development office were recently recognized for their years of service.

Walters, presently the Rural Development manager of the local office, has 35 years of service. The Rural Development specialist, William has 15 years of service.

"I am pleased to recognize Tracy and Cathy for their years of dedicated service and providing exceptional assistance to rural residents," said Terry Luetkemeyer, area manager.

As part of the Rural Development team, they assist in the delivery of programs including: rural housing, multi-family housing, community facilities, business and industry, and the water and wastewater programs.

Rural Development is the primary credit arm of USDA and administers a variety of loan and grant programs to thousands of individuals, families, businesses and communities in Missouri. These funds are used to provide quality housing, good jobs, clean drinking water and waste disposal systems plus reliable modern essential community facilities and services in rural area.
