Wrestlers compete in St. Louis

On Jan. 13, members of the Heartland Wrestling Team competed in St Louis at Rockwood -Lindbergh High School in the Ozark Association Championship wrestling tournament.

Over 1,300 wrestlers entered in the tournament and the results are as follows.

Bantam/Blue division; Logan McCabe second place at 81 pounds; Midget/Blue division; Josh Stinnett, first place at 125 pounds; Schoolboy/Blue division, Trenton Gross third place at 90 pounds; Jacob Stinnett, fifth place at 100 pounds; Cadet/Gold division; Darian Boyd, first place at 160 pounds; Zach Watson, second place at 160 pounds; Clayton Driskill, third place at 152 pounds; Ben Walker, first place at 225 pounds; Cadet/Blue division, Blake Angle, sixth place at 95 pounds; Dustin Ruby, third place at 125 pounds.

Also competing for the club but not making it to the medal rounds were Luke Collins, Garrett Middleton, Josh Eifert and Chase Rodgers.
