BLOOMFIELD -- Mary Sue Boyles, 92, died Feb. 26, 2007, at the Golden Living Center in Bloomfield.
Born Nov. 14, 1914, in Howe, Okla., to the late William Luther and Mary Francis Britton Reed, she had lived in the Dexter and Bloomfield areas all her life before entering the nursing home. She was a homemaker and member of the Bloomfield Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include: one son, George E. Boyles of Killian, Texas; three daughters and one son-in-law, Millie M. Casey of Doniphan, Alice and Don Parks of Bloomfield and Lorene Friend of Troy; three sisters, Cathern Stephenson of the state of Washington, Lizzy Brown of the state of Arkansas and Agnes Anderson of the state of Texas; and 18 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, William Elmer Boyles; one daughter, Joyce Boyles; three brothers, Johnny Reed, Willie Reed and Louis Reed; and two sisters, Maggie Griffin and Pearly Reed.
Visitation is from 6- 8 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter where services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Sue Welborn of Bloomfield will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter.
